8 Sep 2009 by Mark Woodman
I haven't checked recently, but from the tests I've done in the distant past I know that FeedDemon, IE7 (and thus the Windows Feed Platform), JetBrains Omea, NewzCrawler, RSS Bandit, and Snarfer all support RFC 3229. ... There's a Reason RSSCloud failed to Catch On. I necessary read. Then Mark Woodman wrote Is rssCloud All Wet? Another necessary read. 19 Aug 2007 by Brandon LeBlanc
3) A quick way to go through new feed items. In FeedReader or RSS Bandit I can just keep hitting spacebar to navigate through my unread feeds. Even with the setting to mark messages read immediately, and the uncomfortable Ctrl+U keyboard shortcut, ... I read about 100 feeds, so I can't possibly remember all the crap I saw. But, be warned, if you leave the aggregate view before reviewing all new content, and switch to another folder, and if IE7 is set to automatically mark a feed as read when viewed, all feeds in that folder will be marked as read at the same time. Also, if you click on the All %foldername% Items a second time, all items will be marked as read. All feeds in a folder will also be marked as read if you click on a hyperlink in an RSS article when using aggregate view. ...

Microsoft RSS Blog : Read Feeds with Ease in Beta 3
29 Jun 2006 by rss
Once feeds have been grouped into "folders", you should be able to set the refresh interval for "all" feeds within that folder. Along the same line, you should be able to set the interval for ALL feeds as well. Perhaps add a RSS .... I don' t like how IE7 handles feeds.
